Planning, Part 2

The air transportation arranged by the ferry company has me changing planes twice between Philladelphia and Bergen, Norway. There's not a lot of time between flights in Washington DC and Copenhagen, so if my checked bag doesn't make it to the next flight, I'm in trouble when I get there. Since I leave on the ferry the day I arrive, 12 days is a long time without a change of clothes if my bag isn't there. To be safe I decided to try and fit all my stuff for the 3 week trip into one carry-on bag. I practiced packing a couple of times and I think I'll be ok. Temperatures won't be too bad, 50's in Bergen and in the 40's on the northern legs, so I won't need anything too warm. In addition to clothes I can layer, I'm bringing my laptop, i-phone, digital camera and binoculars. Other stuff like chargers, power converter and assorted cords seem to fit ok. I hope that airport security doesn't make me take everything out when I check in. Since my flight leaves in 4 days, I'm doing last minute things around home, like getting my car inspected and fixing the door on my Mom's fridge before I go. Getting excited and hoping I don't forget anything I'll need ....

  1. You need to take a picture of that carry-on bag when it's packed. I want to see proof! :)
